About Haliburton Yoga
Lynda Shadbolt established Haliburton Yoga in Haliburton County in 1996. She loves the practice of yoga, qigong and meditation and the many possibilities and opportunities that it presents to people throughout their entire lives.
Lynda has been teaching for over 20 years and as a result has created her own style of yoga that is really first and foremost about cultivating kindness, compassion and acceptance towards our body, mind and spirit. She passionate about mindful movement that is therapeutic while always connecting us to our own inner goodness, so that we can live in our lives in the ways that we want to. The postures and breathing techniques are vehicles to study ourselves while playing with our inner mobility and power. She loves working with people of all levels to help them live as comfortably in their body as they can so they can live the life that they want.
Lynda studied in the following traditions: Kripalu Yoga, Esther Myers, Anusara, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Yin, Nia, Yoga for Kids and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
When Lynda isn't doing yoga she is outside with her husband, daughter and friends. You will find her camping, travelling, gardening, hiking, kayaking, journalling, taking pictures, cooking, and playing with her dog and cat.
