Gentle – Perfect for beginners and
those who want to review the basics in a slower class. We do lots of warm ups, stick to basic
postures and have time a nourishing relaxation.
Moderate – Perfect for those who want
to move a little faster and play with variations of postures.
Vinyasa – Linked movement and
breath. We start standing with sun
salutations and go from there. This is
for those who have some knowledge of alignment and can adapt postures to meet the needs of their body.
Yoga Nidra with
Tina Koskelo - Come with a sense of openness, curiosity
and the spirit of inquiry as we delve into the body, the breath, our own
practice as it unfolds moment to moment.
Body sensing yoga, breath sensing, yoga
nidra and perhaps some poetry, suitable for all levels. iRest (Integrative Restoration) Yoga Nidra
is a modern version of this ancient tantric practice. It is a method of meditative inquiry that
is usually practiced in a comfortable lying down position where the
participant is guided through the physical, energetic, emotional and
cognitive aspects of the body and mind.
It can be practiced to deeply relax, release stress and tension, to
promote healing of the body/mind and to recognize our inherent health and
wholeness. (Feel free to bring
pillows/ blanket/ eyebag to support yourself in any way.) WHAT WE OFFER
