Yoga from the Inside Out

Tuesdays January 17 - Tuesday February 28 - 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Bring your own mat and water bottle.


This class is being held at the Haliburton County Library, Dysart Branch in downtown Haliburton.   The class is called “Yoga from the Inside Out” and is based on a book written by Christine Sell.  I love this book because there are dozens of books that tell you where to place your heel when you do yoga, where to put your arm, how to bend your waist and that is important, but it isn’t all that yoga is about...This is a book that teaches where to place your heart when you do yoga.   The book explains how yoga can also be a practice of finding peace and self acceptance  and then taking that into your life.


Each week in this class I’ll read a paragraph of two from this book as we do some basic yoga postures and breathing practices.

Introduction to Chair Yoga - Starts Wednesday April 4 at the Dysart Library

This short series will last 4 weeks (April 4 - 25th) and will be from 12:00 - 1:00 pm every Wednesday.  No experience necessary.
